Salary: £34,398 – £46,839 (MPS/UPS, based on experience)

An established and forward-looking secondary school in Bushey is seeking a motivated Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis. This role would suit an experienced Maths Teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop their skills within a well-supported department.

You will be joining a committed and enthusiastic Mathematics Department, delivering engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will help students build confidence, resilience, and strong problem-solving skills, while promoting a positive attitude towards mathematics.

• Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 classes

• Plan structured lessons that support progress for learners of all abilities

• Use a range of teaching strategies to engage and challenge students

• Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress effectively

• Provide timely and constructive feedback

• Maintain a calm, focused, and inclusive classroom environment

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum planning

• Contribute to enrichment activities and the wider school community

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Has experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting (ECTs encouraged to apply)

• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Maths

• Is reflective, organised, and committed to continuous improvement

• Displays confident behaviour management and positive communication skills

• Has an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to obtain one

• A supportive and experienced Maths team
