Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school and national expectations
Promote critical thinking, debate, and a love of historical enquiry
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
Maintain strong classroom management and a positive learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues on departmental and whole-school initiatives
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching History at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to high standards and student achievement
Familiarity with exam board specifications and assessment frameworks
Willingness to engage in CPD and ongoing professional development
