Maths Teacher – Full-Time, Long-Term

Salary: £33,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)

The Maths Department is seeking a dedicated teacher who can bring the subject to life—making it not only understandable but genuinely enjoyable for students.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons for Key Stage 3 and 4
Differentiate instruction to support diverse learning needs
Foster a positive, respectful classroom culture
Assign homework and provide timely, constructive feedback
Prepare students for GCSE exams with effective strategies
Contribute to curriculum planning and resource development
Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices
Monitor student progress and communicate with families and leadership
Participate in school life, including staff meetings and extracurricular activities

Is passionate about Maths and eager to inspire students
Builds strong, respectful relationships with learners
Communicates effectively and works well as part of a team
Embraces technology in the classroom
Has a growth mindset and values ongoing professional development
Holds (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
